General athletic space with Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball courts and bleacher seating. Use of change rooms is included in the price of rentals.

Meetings

General meeting space can be setup with tables and chairs or just left open.  Video projection and basic audio is available in most spaces upon request.

Recitals

Presentation areas with access to choir risers or a Grand Piano can be made available as well.

Rockway is generally available for rent at the following times.*

Monday to Thursday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m

School programming and events are Rockway’s first priority and exceptions to availability due to internal programming and staffing will apply from time to time. 

*Statuatory holidays excluded.

Rental groups are welcome to eat in the Assembly Area for catered events or have light snacks served in the hallways.  Food is discouraged in Gym areas.  Kitchen use, meal and coffee service by school cafeteria staff is available on a limited case by case basis depending on school activites. Please enquire for details.

A few costs are listed to give you an idea of room rental fees and get started with planning.

Discounts are available for repeat clients, affiliated organizations or larger rentals.

Rates are reviewed with you as part of the reservation process.

Depending on the nature of your event and individual needs,

1. Activities carried out on all property owned by Rockway Mennonite Collegiate shall be in keeping with the mandate, objectives, values and teachings of the school. Rockway Mennonite Collegiate reserves the right to prohibit any and all activities that are not consistent with this requirement.
2. A rental agreement is required and must be completed by the applicant (the Renter) who is 21 years of age or older and is not transferable. The Renter must accompany the group to the school.
3. A completed rental agreement with deposit will be required to complete a booking. The deposit is non-refundable. 
4. Full payment and provision of a certificate of insurance for $2 million will be required before your event can take place.
5. Rockway will not be responsible for personal injury or damage, or for the loss or theft of clothing or equipment during the term of the contract.
6. The Renter agrees to indemnify and save harmless Rockway from any action or claim being brought against it as a result of the use of the facilities by the user. Rockway’s insurance DOES NOT cover a user of the facilities against negligence. Rental conditions are defined more fully on the rental contract.
